New Stockist: Rare Device in San Francisco

August 22, 2013

Rare Device

I’m excited to share Cotton & Flax’s first Bay Area stockist: Rare Device in San Francisco! Rare Device is one of my favorite shops to visit when I’m in SF, they always carry the most beautifully designed items for the home. They have a great selection of stationery and jewelry, too, so it’s pretty hard to visit the shop without buying something you’ll love.

Rare Device is now carrying Cotton & Flax coasters and tea towels (which should be in the online shop soon), so if you live in San Francisco, stop by and see them in person!

New Stockist: Mignon Kitchen Co.

August 15, 2013

mignon coasters

I’m happy to share another lovely stockist of Cotton & Flax goods: Mignon Kitchen Co. This online-only shop carries a selection of curated goods for prepping, baking, serving, and sharing food, from everyday tools to indulgences. It certainly lives up to it’s name, which means “cute” in French.

You’ll find coasters and tea towels available at Mignon Kitchen Co. If you’re looking for a simple gift for a friend or a co-worker, I’d pair this adorable heart shaped tea infuser with some loose leaf tea, and a set of Cotton & Flax coasters for a charming gift.

New Stockist: Amelia in Oxford, MS

July 12, 2013

Amelia

I feel so lucky to be adding another fantastic stockist to the list of shops that carry Cotton & Flax goods! This week, it’s Amelia, a wonderfully curated shop in Oxford, Mississippi.

Amelia - Beautiful gift shop in Oxford, MS

The owner of Amelia, Erin Austin Abbott, is an amazing supporter of indie makers, and stocks her shelves with all sorts of beautiful gifts, many of which are handmade. Amelia is a tiny shop, only 187 square feet, but she manages to create beautifully merchandised displays in the small space – an impressive feat!

If you live nearby, I hope you’ll stop by Amelia and check out my coasters and postcards in person. From what I can see online, the shop features lots of other fantastic items from some of my favorite makers. The stationery selection is particularly awesome, including The Paper Cub, Iron Curtain Press, and Rifle Paper Co.

New Stockist – The Shop in East Liberty

June 20, 2013

The Shop in ELExcited to announce another great shop carrying Cotton & Flax goods – The Shop in East Liberty in Pittsburgh, PA! While I’ve never visited the shop in person, it looks fantastic from what I can see on their instagram and their website. They carry lots of my favorite independent designers – Vitrified Studio, Leah Duncan, Fail Jewelry, and many others. If you live nearby, I hope you’ll visit the shop, and let me know how it all looks in person!

Very excited to add another local stockist here in Los Angeles – the Hammer Museum is now carrying a selection of Cotton & Flax coasters in their museum store! Stop by and check it out if you live nearby, and while you’re there, take a peek at some of the great exhibits they have up – I got to see the A. Quincy Jones exhibit of California architecture while I was there, so much to see!
