Cotton & Flax - makers arcade booth This Saturday, December 8th, I’ll be returning to Makers Arcade for my second holiday show. This market is one of the best places to shop San Diego’s artists and makers, and enjoy drinks and snacks from local favorite restaurants. A great opportunity to finish your holiday shopping, and support local businesses all at once!

The Cotton & Flax shop on Adams ave will be closed on Saturday while I’m at the show, but if you’re in San Diego, stop by the Port Pavillion and say hello!

Shop Local this Weekend at West Coast Craft

West Coast Craft in San Francsico I’m excited to have Cotton & Flax goods exhibited in San Francisco this weekend at West Coast Craft! This two day art and design fair is one of my favorite events of the year, and it’s open to the public. I’d definitely plan to start holiday shopping early; there will be over 250 artists and makers selling their work at the show. I won’t be able to attend in person this time, but my dear friend Bianca from Chaparral Studio is going to be running our booth with her own beautiful flair.

Patterned Valentine’s Day Printable

Just like Leslie Knope, I’ve been scheming ideas for small gifts to give my favorite ladies for Galentine’s Day! These little treat boxes should do the trick.

After creating some fun gift wrap for Design Love Fest over the holidays, I’ve been hoping to do more free printables, and I finally got a moment to work on a sweet little project with my friend Emma Trithart! I created a special version of my dense dash pattern in a dusty rose quartz color, and Emma contributed her lovely hand-lettering to fit on this little printable gift box.

Los Angeles: Renegade Craft Fair is THIS WEEKEND!

It’s finally time for Renegade’s Holiday Market here in Los Angeles! I’m looking forward to spending the weekend catching up with my favorite makers from around my community, and talking with shoppers about the hard work and love that goes into my work for Cotton & Flax. Plus, I get a chance to buy gifts – it’s always more fun to buy directly from local artists and makers than to brave the mall at the 11th hour.

Renegade’s Holiday Market takes place at the beautiful Grand Park (Downtown LA between Broadway and Spring St.) from 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday. There’s no entry fee, so bring a friend or two, and support local designers while you finish your holiday shopping!

Cotton & Flax will be at booth #164 all weekend, with tons of giftable coasters, tea towels, napkins, trivets, and pillows – plus a special sale section just for Renegade. Stop by and say hello!

Upcoming Holiday Events in California

I hope you’ll come visit me at one of my upcoming Holiday events in San Francisco or LA!

First up, we have West Coast Craft, a new craft & design show in San Francisco featuring carefully selected artists & craftspeople living and working on the West Coast. The show takes place Dec. 6th + 7th at Fort Mason Center. The lineup is absolutely stellar, so if you live in the Bay Area, you’d be remiss not to stop by and get your holiday shopping started.

I’ll also be participating in Renegade’s Holiday Market in Los Angeles, which is taking place on Dec. 13th + 14th at Grand Park in DTLA. As always, there will be tons of food trucks and free crafting activities, so bring the whole family for a fun afternoon of holiday shopping.

Both shows are free and open to the general public – hope to see you there!
