The fabric industry can feel a little opaque sometimes. I get lots of emails from textile design students who are looking for advice, and I totally relate to that thirst for knowledge. There’s tons of info out there about talented fabric designers, but if you don’t know any famous textile designers’ names, it can be tough to know where to start.
Today I’ve got a new phone wallpaper for you, to give your screen a fresh look! I’ve been doing a ton of drawing and painting lately, and I’ve been attempting some floral patterns for the first time. Way out of my comfort zone, which might be why I painted them in this dark palette. I like this wallpaper because it feels restful on my eyes when I turn on my phone — sometimes I need a break from bright colors.
