With my second fabric collection for Robert Kaufman, Balboa, arriving in stores in November, I’d like to share the lookbook of Balboa projects, which were created with lots of help from my favorite sewing mavens. I hope it inspires you to sew with Balboa once it arrives in a shop near you!

New drink coasters for the holidays

October 31, 2018

ice blue coasters - Cotton & FlaxNew for the holidays: confetti coasters in a brand new ice blue hue. 100% wool felt coasters keep your furniture safe from scratches and water damage, and add a pop of pattern to your table.

If you’ve been a fan of Cotton & Flax for long, you know we don’t release new colorways very often! This special blue hue just spoke to me — something about the grey heather wool felt too special to ignore.

For this photoshoot, I paired our new ice blue coaster with a sage green linen tablecloth from Iconic Linen. I get asked for linen tablecloth recommendations often, and this sage green one is my current fave. Pairs beautifully with our linen herringbone napkins for a holiday celebration!
